Service terms and limitations.

Nature of the service

The Mileage Accountant is an award-travel advisory. We search for premium cabin award availability, advise on program selection and transfer sequencing, and — with your instruction — execute bookings in loyalty accounts held by you and the travelers you designate.

No guarantee

Award inventory is controlled by airlines and hotel programs, not by us. We do not guarantee the availability of any specific award, the mileage cost of any redemption, upgrades at check-in, or the ability of any program to be used through third-party assistance. Loyalty program terms change without notice.

Transfers

Transfers of points from a flexible currency to an airline or hotel program are typically irreversible. No points are moved without your explicit authorization for a specific booking. Once transferred, points cannot be recovered by us.

Fees and payment

Portfolio reviews are complimentary. Award bookings carry a flat fee, quoted in advance per passenger, per itinerary. Additional passengers on the same itinerary are booked at a reduced rate. If a search does not produce an option worth booking, no fee is charged. Hotel reservations placed through our agency partner are compensated by the property through standard commission and carry no charge to you.

Traveler responsibility

Travelers are responsible for passports, visas, entry requirements, travel insurance, and taxes and carrier-imposed surcharges payable at ticketing.

Not legal advice

Nothing on this website or in our correspondence constitutes legal advice. You remain responsible for compliance with the terms of any loyalty program in which you hold an account.

This website describes services and is not an offer, quotation, or guarantee. Award availability, mileage pricing, carrier-imposed surcharges, and hotel benefits are determined by airlines, loyalty programs, and participating properties and can change without notice. Point valuations and example itineraries are representative rather than promised outcomes. Transfers of points from a flexible currency to an airline or hotel program are typically irreversible. Taxes and carrier-imposed surcharges are paid by the traveler. Loyalty program terms may restrict third-party involvement. Travelers remain responsible for visas, insurance, and entry requirements.
